Mission:
IS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a platform that provides free services and information for all international students and professionals in the United States. Since February 2005, IS has devoted itself to developing a friendly, multi-cultural, and mutually beneficial international community. IS is the home for all people who left home to live and study in a different country. IS is your home.
IS Achievements:
Sponsored by United Consultation and Business Services Company (UCBSC), IS has helped thousands of IS members get significant discounts and benefits in housing, food, immigration services, hotel, carpet-cleaning, vehicle purchase, and many, many more. During the past three years since 2005, IS has helped members save more than $3.5 million in their living costs. IS also provides many other services for new international students, including 22,000 free new student handbooks every year (available for all Big-ten universities), free temporary housing for newcomers in UIUC, Penn State University and Purdue University, 5,000 free telephone cards, free pick up services for newcomers, and free local tour for new students, etc. IS has positioned itself to help more international students on many more campuses.
